K’Naan is a Canadian Somali hip-hop artist who has risen to international fame in the last decade. He will perform music and excerpts from his upcoming hip-hop musical exploring terrorism, commissioned by The Public Theater. K’Naan is an artist with his mind on the global community and his work reflects that – digging into a subject that is both difficult and timely, in an energetic and exciting new way. "Flying Over Sunset," A New Musical by James Lapine, Tom Kitt, and Michael Korie

Director and playwright James Lapine (Into The Woods), composer Tom Kitt (Next to Normal) and lyricist Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) return with their latest musical, FLYING OVER SUNSET, which explores three characters, Claire Booth Luce, Aldous Huxley, Cary Grant, and their respective journeys with fame and LSD in 1950s Los Angeles.

FLYING OVER SUNSET will feature Marin Mazzie, Boyd Gaines, Tam Mutu, Betsy Wolfe, Jennifer Simard, Matt McGrath, Colin Critchley, David Pittu, and Anna Eilinsfeld.

A new musical by the married musical duo The Bengsons, known for blending soaring vocals, frenetic rhythms and rousing choruses to create new hybrid indie rock/art/theater performances. With the book by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher and Music & Lyrics by the The Bengsons, THE LUCKY ONES features choreography by Sonya Tayeh (So You Think You Can Dance) and is directed by Anne Kauffman.
